The guitar is in beautiful, original condition and comes with its original brown Lifton case.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eYou’ll usually see the ES-225T in sunburst, and for good reason: of the more than 5,200 ES-225Ts produced, only 420 left the factory in this natural finish, and only 138 in 1957.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eThe Gibson 225T was Gibson’s first thinline hollowbody model, built from 1955 to 1959. In 1959 it was replaced by the ES-330.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003ePersonally, I’m very fond of the P-90 in the middle position. It gives you the bite of a bridge pickup but with a much warmer character. By experimenting with the volume and tone controls and the position of your picking hand, you can coax an impressive range of sounds out of this guitar. You’re very welcome to come and try it out!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eBecause the ES-225 is a relatively affordable 1950s Gibson, these guitars are often harvested for parts to restore more expensive models. Fortunately, this ES-225T has remained wonderfully original: the truss rod cover, knobs, pots, tuners and the dogear P-90 pickup are all original. Even the original brown Lifton case with pink lining is included.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eAlongside this TN, I also have a TDN (with two pickups) in the same natural finish, also from 1957 and from the same collection.
