You are very welcome to come and experience it for yourself.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eThe guitar remains in beautiful original condition, with no breaks and completely original finish with no overspray. Naturally, the guitar has been played over the past 65 years: the back of the neck shows clear signs of use, with areas where the finish has worn through from playing. The shoulders of the neck have been beautifully rounded over time, and the guitar has developed a stunning natural finish checking.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eThe comfortable C-shaped neck is certainly not as thin as you might expect from a Gibson from the early 1960s. The neck measures 21.3 mm (.84”) thick at the 1st fret and 23 mm (.90”) at the 12th fret.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p4\"\u003eThe guitar is largely original, but a few things have been changed:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe guitar is currently set up with a stoptail tailpiece, but it comes with a 1960s Bigsby vibrato. This Bigsby is most likely not factory original.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe bridge pickup is the original PAF pickup. The neck pickup has been replaced with a later vintage Gibson pickup. The covers on both pickups have been removed at some point in the past.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe original tuners have been replaced. The current tuners are period-correct, and the previous modification has left small holes next to the tuner holes.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe bridge has been subtly repositioned to achieve optimal intonation. The two original bridge post holes remain visible in the top (see photos).\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eThe guitar comes with a brown 1950s Lifton case, a 1960s Bigsby vibrato and a stereo cable.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p6\"\u003eIf you have any questions or would like to see more photos of the guitar, please feel free to get in touch.
