It is a highly convincing reissue that genuinely captures the look and feel of a late-1950s Stratocaster.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFinished in \u003cem\u003eTahitian Coral\u003c\/em\u003e, this guitar stands out from the more familiar Custom Colors. Although never listed as an official Fender Custom Colour, Tahitian Coral is known to have been used on a small number of Fender guitars in the early 1960s, making it an interesting and unusual choice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile Fender generally used alder for opaque finishes from 1956 onwards, this reissue features an ash body. Compared with alder, ash typically offers a little more attack, snap and twang, along with a slightly more open and resonant character.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe guitar features a comfortable medium C neck profile, a 9.5” radius fingerboard, and has been professionally set up with a low action.
