This Melody Maker breaths tone! I have never heard a guitar that has more volume unplugged than this Gibson.
This is an early 1960 Gibson Melody Maker with a round C-neck with ‘59 profile.
The guitar is mostly original (pickup, pickguard, tuners and knobs are original). The potentiometers and bridge have been replaced in the past, though. The bridge has been replaced for a Mojo Axe. These bridges are hard to distinguish from an original bridge, but intonate very well.
The Melody Maker's sound is a cross between a Les Paul Junior and a Fender Telecaster: lots of twang and bite, but with less high output than a P90 pickup.
The guitar comes in a sturdy gig bag.
