It is no secret that the Fender Champ is a great amp for the studio. Eric Clapton used this little amp in 1970 while recording Layla. And if you plug in a Stratocaster and turn up the volume, you really have that tone.

Don't be put off by this amp's 5 watts and 8-inch speaker. It can go loud and has quite a bit of body too. I find Champs sound best with the volume at 4 on the edge of break-up.

This example is from early 1961 and is still in very nice condition. All important parts, such as the transformers and speaker, are original. However, some caps, the power tube and the handle have been replaced. There is also a 3-prong plug with earth wire installed (for safety), but the original 2-prong plug is included.

The amp is 110 volts. For use in Europe, you will need a stepdown transformer. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this!

Feel free to come and test it extensively. It can also be sent worldwide. Do you have any questions or would you like to see more pictures? Get in touch!
