Beautiful and 100% original 1966 Fender Mustang. The guitar comes with the original case, strap, bridge cover, and tremolo arm.
The Fender Mustang is a very versatile model. With the pickup switches, you can select the neck, bridge, or both pickups, and you can also switch the pickups out of phase. This gives the guitar a nasal, “quacky” sound, similar to the Les Paul used by Peter Green.
The guitar has a medium C-shaped neck, a 24" scale length (there is also a shorter 22.5" version), and a 1 5/8" nut width (the standard “B” neck). It is perfectly set up, plays great, and is remarkably stable in tune, even when using the tremolo.
The finish is original and in good condition, with no overspray. The lacquer does show some checking and there is some light wear here and there.
