The Gibson Les Paul Custom in Alpine White with gold hardware is arguably one of the most elegant guitars ever made.
This example is in excellent, all-original condition. The Alpine White finish has aged slightly to a warm vintage hue, with a subtle checking in the nitro lacquer. The original frets are still in good shape.
Tonally, this Les Paul Custom is exceptional, it delivers a lot of sustain and a rich, articulate sound. The ebony fretboard adds clarity and definition compared to models with a rosewood board. The neck has a fairly chunky ‘50s-style C profile.
The white Les Paul Custom is often associated with Randy Rhoads, but James Hetfield and Steve Jones also famously used this model.
There’s a smallblack sticker on the back for an unknown reason (see photos). I've left it on, but it can easily be removed if desired.
The guitar comes in a sturdy 1990s Gibson hard case.
