Stunning Gibson Les Paul Junior from the Custom Shop. This is a reissue of a 1958 Double Cut Junior in cherry red.
This guitar closely replicates a '50s Junior down to the finest details, featuring a long neck tenon, chunky ’50s-style neck profile, a one-piece mahogany body, bumblebee capacitors, nitro finish, and more.
The red finish on the front of the guitar has slightly faded to a browner hue, while the back still retains its original cherry red. This kind of fading is typical of cherry red Gibsons from the 1950s.
The previous owner replaced the bridge with one that offers improved intonation, but the original bridge is included. The guitar also comes with its certificate of authenticity, original case, black pickguard, and more.
There was once a strap button installed on the upper horn of the guitar. Aside from this detail, the guitar is completely original and untouched. It’s also in very good condition, with only some light buckle rash on the back from a strap.
