This Stratocaster shows that very good Fenders are built in Mexico! It is an incredibly good-sounding guitar and the craftsmanship is exceptional.
This is a 50's reissue from the Vintera II series from 2023. Guitars from this series are period-correct, including a 7.25-inch radius and a ‘50’s soft V-neck' (which feels more like a C-neck).
It really sounds like a good vintage Strat: from a nice twang and sparkle with the bridge pickup to a warm tone with lots of body in the neck.
Nowadays, a black Strat is rather standard, but in the 50's it was very special: a ‘factory black’ Strat was only made to order. Only a few are known, including Clapton's famous ‘Blackie’.
The guitar is in brand new condition and is set-up with a low action. It comes in the original gig bag and the tremolo arm and booklets are included.
