This 1966 Epiphone Crestwood Custom is a true collector's gem, completely original and in superb condition. The Crestwood was Epiphone's top-of-the-line solid body guitar, featuring the iconic Patent No. mini humbuckers, ABR-1 bridge, oval inlays, binding along the fretboard, batwing headstock, and the piece of rosewood at the bridge – a combination of premium features that make this guitar a standout.

It’s wonderfully resonant, with impressive acoustic volume. The mini humbuckers are perfectly balanced, delivering gorgeous mids and a tone that’s both full and open, yet more refined compared to traditional humbuckers. The real highlight: in the middle pickup position, the pickups are out of phase, giving the guitar a distinctive, nasal tone reminiscent of legendary players like Peter Green.

The condition of the Crestwood is nothing short of stunning. It remains completely original, with no modifications or repairs, except for a very good refret. The finish retains its rich, deep red colour and shows off a charming, vintage crackle that only enhances its character. It comes in a vintage, but not original, black case with blue lining.

Feel free to come and test it thoroughly. It can also be shipped worldwide. Do you have any questions, or would you like to see more photos of the guitar? Get in touch!
